We use eco-friendly manufacturers to supply the high-grade recyclable aluminum alloys used in our rigid hand-welded frames. We employ only the highest grade version of aluminum alloy, resulting in a furniture frame that’s lightweight yet incredibly strong. And it doesn’t jiggle when you wiggle! The cushions and slipcover are made from upholstery grade foam and fabrics for guaranteed comfort.
How big is the sofa?
The sofa is big enough to fit three big football players or three full-sized adults who want a little elbow room. And, it’s big enough for two people to ummmmmmmmmmmm well, develop deep appreciation for the other’s anatomy. It does all this and fits in a space that’s sixty inches long by thirty-two inches deep.
How strong is your sofa?
We’ve put 600 lbs of human flesh on our sofa with no problem, and we’re confident that it can easily support individuals up to 250 lbs apiece. Our heli-arc welded aluminum alloy frame is incredibly strong, lightweight, recyclable, and more economical than frames made from traditional materials. This allows you to AFFORD a couch, move it easily, store it in a box over the summer, and ship it to a friend, or to your next apartment for very little money.
OK, the sofa strong, but how does it look?
We spent a lot of time talking with our customers in order to design exactly what they wanted in sofa. We also worked with some of the best product designers in the country who have deep experience in furniture design. This sofa was designed to be fun, edgy, and cool. It’s a functional conversation piece. This is the “it” item to have in your apartment or dorm room.
Does the sofa open into a bed? Is it big enough to lie down on?
The sofa does not open into a bed - it’s just a darn great sofa! It’s very comfortable to lie down on, though, and after a late night of studying (or partying) you may certainly want to do this. You may find that your feet will dangle off the end if you stretch out a bit. But students indicated this is OK after about a six-pack of beer. It’s perfect for taking long naps.
Is it comfortable?
Hell yes! Very. Extremely. The ergonomic design supports your back and butt in exactly the right places, and it’s amazingly comfortable. The high quality upholstery grade cushions provide the perfect combination of support density and softness. Goldilocks would choose these cushions because they are “juuuust riiiiiiiiight.”

How long does it take to assemble the couch?
About twenty to thirty minutes for one person. No tools required. Simply screw the legs on with our large easy to turn wing nuts.
I do want the sofa, but what do I do with it over the summer?
Our sofa was specifically designed with portability in mind. It fits in a box that is 30x24x16” and weighs about thirty pounds. It disassembles in minutes and can easily be packed away in storage or shipped home if you can’t live without it for the summer. It may be happiest hanging out in a friendly house where it will get some use, but it’ll understand if you need to store it in a box for a few months.
Where is the storage space?
Two large storage spaces are easily accessible beneath the couch seat. Simply lift the slipcover up and you’ll find almost eight cubic feet of storage space here - about the size of two large suitcases. These are ideal for storing off-season clothing, small appliances, reference books and other items.
What if I don’t like the sofa after I set it up?
In the extremely unlikely event that this happens, simply give it to a friend, donate it to a homeless shelter, or recycle it! If you’d prefer to return it for a refund, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee if you’re not completely satisfied.
